Shamanic Tantra Gardening Tips  – Part 1

Fluid Bonding With Your Plants!

I’ve been dancing with the shamanic tantra garden Dakinis for over 25 years now. Very early in my earth element studies, I learned about the synergistic relationship between people and plants, particularly the plants we use as food + medicine.

For example, most folks are aware of the benefits of “composting” and how our food waste can be transformed into rich nutrients to build healthy soil. But many folks aren’t aware that when properly handled and composted, human waste is one of THE best sources of nutrients for plants, with the added benefit of creating chemical compatibility between our bodies and the foods we eat.

When we feed our bodily fluids to plants, such as urine and/or menstrual blood, they (the plants) will bio-adapt their chemistry to match ours, in order to produce the most beneficial nutrients for our bodies. We are literally “fluid bonding” with our plants!

In the video below I discuss horny goat weed and its beneficial impact on menopause symptoms. According to the internet – “Horny goat weed contains chemicals that might help increase blood flow and improve sexual function. It also contains phytoestrogens, chemicals that act somewhat like the hormone estrogen.”

All on its own, Horny Goat Weed produces these phytoestrogens that can help support beneficial estrogen levels in my body. How much more potent would this medicine be if this specific plant knew just how much estrogen my body needed, so it could tailor the dosage to my specific biological needs?

Enter my bodily fluids to the scene! By feeding the Horny Goat weed my fresh urine the plant receives the chemical messages of my body and responds by producing the correct amount of phytoestrogens for my body. As I continue taking the herb and my estrogen levels balance, I continue feeding my urine to the plant so that it continues to receive the biological data my body is producing. This way the plant can continue bio-adapting its chemistry to meet the specific needs of my body as those needs evolve as a result of the medicine I am receiving.

Isn’t that freaking amazing? This is just one example of the active, dynamic, and mutually supportive relationship human beings were designed to have with our natural world.

If you have more than one person on your farm contributing their bodily fluids to the plants, the plants will adapt to offer a more broad spectrum support that helps balance your mutual bio-chemistries gradually over time.

This sacred science also applies to menstrual blood, but we’ll dig into blood rituals a bit later…

For now, I encourage those of you who have the privilege of growing your own foods and medicine to collect your urine and feed it to your plants ASAP.

The recipe for this is:

  1. One part urine to three parts water.
  2. Collect your fresh urine by peeing into a designated pee jar.
  3. Mix the fresh urine with sufficient water and pour directly on the soil at the base of the plants.

Time is of the essence, so make sure to mix and pour your urine within 15 minutes of it leaving your body. Fresh human urine is one of the BEST sources of nitrogen for plants, but most of it evaporates within 15 minutes of leaving your body, so make haste with your waste!
